The film is a celebration of the feminine energy witnessed through a dance that draws upon the 'Saundaryalahari', the tantric text dedicated to the female energy. The dance visually represents the ascent of the kundalini, the coiled corporeal energy, from the base of the spine, through the energy points called chakras to highest one. Here she sports with the male principle and then descends to her original abode returning to her serpentine coil. The film is shot at the stone temple of the 64 Yoginis at Ranipur-Jharial, Orissa, that is a hymn to the mystery of creation, recreation and origin of life celebrated through the feminine. Wilderness grows from the rocks. The paradox of Tantra: The beauty of the barren land.
