The 'Right To Information' act has galvanised a people made cynical and hopeless in the face of a completely corrupt system. This film tells the story of the forerunners of this struggle for the public's right to information: the Mazdoor Kisan Shakti Sangathan (Movement for the Empowerment of Peasants and Workers) and their activist comrades. Shot over four years in the desert state of Rajasthan the film follows these relentless crusaders as they cast a democratic web to combat corruption.
